A 4-1 victory over Gillibrand Warriors opens our October league programme.

All match reports are now available.

Our next game is on Sunday 14th October when we welcome Croston to Shore Road. See the fixture list here.

Venue for training is the same as last week. Same day, please arrive at 6.25pm.

About Us

Hesketh Bank AFC were founded in 1922. The Club has an outstanding local tradition, rooted in its local community and you can view an interesting but brief history here. Come on you social historians - let's have more!

The Club currently has four adult teams, with the first team playing in the West Lancashire Premier League.

The Club also has eight youth teams ranging from the youngest at under 8s, playing mini soccer, to the under 16s.

The Club are working with the local Hesketh Bank community to develop new sporting facilities for local people. Download the plans for this exciting new development here and contact the Club for further information.

Our philosophy

Our team, the Under 14s, currently play in the Central Lancs Junior Football League, in the Under 14s 'B' division.

This season if we can't make it into the Champions League, then our aim is to make sure we all enjoy our football. While we all love winning, it just isn't possible to win every game. It is possible to play with a smile on our face in every game and try as hard as we can to show our skills, to show good sportsmanship and respect our opponents, and give maximum effort. When you play us, whatever the score, we'll just keep on smiling!

We place an emphasis on good coaching that is aimed at supporting each individual squad member and guided by our Code of Conduct. See our coaching pages for more information on this.

While often there is a subtle message to be made, remember a part of football is about opinions but always, it is a game to be enjoyed.
